Alicia Gossman-Steeves is a wife, mother of three boys and a step-grandmother to two girls and two boys. “Leece” used to be in the criminal justice system, on the right side of the bars, as a court clerk. As a writer, she has had her work published in local publications, "A Cup of Comfort Women of the Bible Devotional," and "A Cup of Comfort Devotional for Mothers." She is working on two books. One is based on her experiences as a court clerk, and is tentatively titled “Who You Are Is What You Get." She is also working on “Jesus and the Android," examining Christ and Christian spirituality in today’s wireless, high tech culture. Alicia blogs at "Yahbut: Abundant Living." She is a budding photographer, using a Canon 40D with a few good lenses in her bag, and is working on some photography projects concentrating on southeastern Colorado. Before her first husband, Gordon, died of pancreatic cancer, Alicia was a stay-at-home mom, pastor’s wife and a part time correspondent for an agricultural newspaper. She is now married to Mike, an avid blogger, photographer and local IT tech. She has a B.A. in Sociology from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Master’s degree in Religion with an emphasis in Spiritual Formation from Northwest Nazarene University.
