The artist Rozine was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer in May 2021. To quell the anxiety of upcoming treatments, including many surgeries, Rozine began slicing up pieces of paper with X-Acto razor blades. Born from that therapeutic process were less than 10 collages, which can now be found on coasters, wall art, coffee mugs, and other merchandise. Rozine's collage art is filled with sassy insights and witty remarks.
