I run a small non-profit, all volunteer animal rescue for abandon, abused and neglected animals. All of our animals are in foster homes. Some may stay with their fosters long term due to medical or behavioral needs. We have a Animal Assisted Therapy team which visits area senior centers with certified animals. We also have a home therapy visitor, Phelicia, who visits area seniors and handicap individuals that cannot leave their home. Phelicia is also special needs, she is deaf and neurologically impaired. But don't tell her that, she will take on any challenge that is presented her.
