My name is Jo Claire Hall, and I'm the artist behind Groovy Gal Designs Online. It all started on the living room floor as a kid, where you'd usually find me coloring and doodling...or reading a book. Then I grew up and life intervened. Fast forward a couple of decades to 2007. I wanted to participate in a local arts and crafts festival, but I didn't have anything to sell. Then I remembered pet rocks from the '70's. They were so cool, and I thought, "I can do that!" So I did! The positive feedback I received from festival-goers inspired me to expand my painting endeavors. Fast forward another 15 years or so, and I'm now a retired teacher, blessed to be able to focus on my art. I feel fortunate to now be able to say that my work resides in homes throughout the United States, Canada, England, Australia, and Mexico.
