Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a tear in an artery’s inner lining, creating a blockage. SCAD is an under-recognized cause of acute coronary syndrome, heart attack and sudden cardiac arrest. SCAD Alliance is a unique organization with an integrated approach to the challenges facing SCAD patients and those who care about them. The mission of SCAD Alliance is to be the leader in advancing the science of SCAD through improved knowledge and cooperation among health care professionals, patients and their families. We pursue this mission by educating key audiences and fostering unique, interdisciplinary research collaborations. All proceeds from this store go to support our mission.
