To help raise awareness about the importance of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), we’ve created stickers! Show your support by placing them on your laptop, car, or anywhere else visible. Proceeds will be donated to the Union of Concerned Scientists. We are not affiliated with NOAA or acting on its behalf. NOAA's mission is to understand and predict changes in climate, weather, oceans, and coasts; to share that knowledge and information with others; and to conserve and manage coastal and marine ecosystems and resources. The American Meteorological Society (AMS) has warned that recent government actions impacting the science workforce could cause irreparable harm to public safety, economic stability, and the United States' global leadership. The value of weather and climate information to the U.S. economy is estimated to exceed $100 billion annually, roughly 10 times the amount invested by taxpayers (Lazo 2024).
