I've been a dog photographer since 2005. I love dogs and have been blessed with sharing my life with 5 of them. The current love of my life is my French Bulldog, Rosie. What a character! She keeps me laughing every day with her clown antics - very different from the large breed dogs I had before her. Zoey, my Yellow Lab was the dog that got me started doing dog photography. She was my model dog for many years and she'd do almost anything for food. I photographed her (and numerous other dogs) for several catalog and commercial projects I did in the course of my professional career. I learned pretty quickly that a well-trained model dog is infinitely easier to work with than a normal pet dog. So I have a huge appreciation for anyone who can get consistently great photos of dogs in portrait or commercial style situations. I like to interject a bit of humor wherever possible in my work.
