How did "Campbell Glen Productions" come to be? Well... A long time ago in a cubicle far, far away (from where I am now) a younger me joined an online play by email game called the Experimental Electronic Football League. It was fantasy done with random numbers, code, and lots of imagination, no use of statistics of real world play. There were teams like Adirondack Automata (players all named for various machinery), Comedians United (stand-up comedians), Oldies But Goodies (old movie stars), and Kitchen Utensils United (with goalkeeper Big Sieve). It was all about fun. Each team manager could submit a "press release" with game orders and the Comissioner would assemble a league wide release and award some bonus resources depending on how amused he was. I took that opportunity and ran with it. Campbell's Clansmen (my team loaded with outlandish sounding highland Scottish type names), the team of Campbell Glen (a fictional place in the highlands of the internet) collected the bonus resources frequently with wildly entertaining tales. Losses got blamed on red cards to my team when opposing players got head-butted in the naughty bits by a ghost goat. A lopsided win was credited to a "special" haggis recipe. Eventually I had town characters, spectators, groundskeepers, a tribe of Jedi moles, ghost hunters, and all manner of mayhem going on and gave the town the name Campbell Glen. At some point I needed a fun name to use on the labels for my home made wines and Campbell Glen figured into that. And so...Campbell Glen Productions became the "holding company" if you will for a lot of my creative output. Welcome to my art store. I hope you enjoy the images that show up here and the things I've chosen to allow them to be printed on. If you are interested in having one of my images on something I have not included in the store, please contact me and we'll discuss the idea! Russell D. Campbell
