I enjoy making people around me happy. I believe happiness is a choice we make but it does take work. I could go on forever about this topic. I believe in putting out positive energy into the world…my first passion. If it’s not obvious, I love creating and doing things with my hands – my second passion. I have gotten myself into all sorts of projects and they just seem to get more complex as I get older. My third passion is the love of business…or entrepreneurship. I went to school for Business Administration and got my MBA. My first business was selling hand-crafted baskets. I went door to door at the age of 13. Total basket business revenue: $10 -the best earned $10 of my life. In adulthood, I have worked in quite a few different industries. I started working with leather and fell in love with its qualities. Many say it is an unforgiving material to work with (and expensive if you mess up), but that’s what makes it so very special. I couldn’t make two things ‘exactly’ alike even if I wanted to. Making something with my hands (creative release), selling it for some profit (business), and making people’s surrounding beautiful while bringing a smile to their face (happiness) = my dream come true. Other random facts: I believe in the law of attraction. If I didn’t dye my hair it would be ‘salt and pepper’. I’m 37 – yikes. I have an accent when I speak English. (I’m bilingual English-Spanish) I have been married twice before. I love drawing and wish I was good at it. I would totally take classes on realistic drawing. I have learned the best lessons in life from my failures…and I have had many. If you look at a picture of me at the age of 25 and compared it to now, you wouldn’t think we’re the same person… I look forward to sharing more about me and hope to learn about you too!
