Coleen and I started our little greeting card making empire, PaperFreckles in 2009 initially creating custom invitations for brides and logos for small businesses. What we eventually discovered was we didn't enjoy creating custom invitations for brides and logos for small businesses. What we DID enjoy were laughter and silliness. So, seeing as how I’ve never fully matured into a functional adult* we thought we’d use my sarcastic, mid-brow** humor and illustrations to create some snarky, funny, "seriously unserious greeting cards. Our inspiration comes from the “way too serious” world around us, our silly day-to-day banter and sometimes way, way too much coffee. We spend our free time enjoying living in and exploring the Charleston, South Carolina area and love to dote on our furry kid – Beauregard, our rescue Great Pyrenees. * Seriously, who has?! ** We totally made that word up.
