Pam Cressall has been a photographer for over 25 years and completed her undergraduate work in photojournalism. During her academic studies she spent time in Cordova, Alaska with the UO SOJC's Science and Memory* team researching and reporting on the effects of climate change in the area. It was during that time that she gained an expanded appreciation for the natural world we live in. After being introduced to acrylic pouring, Pam began to see similarities between her paintings and some of the aerial photographs she had taken in Alaska. She often uses these photos as inspiration for her designs. *Visit scienceandmemory.uoregon.edu for more information on the team's research and reporting.
