I'm a licensed artist & product designer whose art applies to everyday gift products. I started selling my paintings & designs at art & wine street shows here in California where the weather is good for outdoor shows. My husband, who taught himself how to frame my art, and I, set up an outdoor booth and sold my original watercolors. We then moved on to national shows with a sunny booth filled with my colorful watercolors and lots of bright lights and silk palm leaves. My themes are varied because I enjoy the creative process. My art has always been whimsical in theme, with bright colors and a fun feel. My goal has always been to make my art bring humor and happiness to others. My original watercolor illustrations have appeared on hundreds of products like beach bags, kitchen linens, pet products, ceramics and almost anything appearing in the home environment. Additionally, I work on private commissions. This Ormsby Editions zazzle store has been very rewarding because it allows me the opportunity to design and customize individually for my customers without the complexity of working with off-shore companies. Zazzle is an American company working with over 200 manufacturers. Because zazzle handles all aspects of manufacturing and shipping, it frees up my time to paint. A sweet deal!
