Driss NYAMI was born in Casablanca, Morocco in 1964. His love and interest in art was evident from an early age as he won the School of Fine Arts award in 1984. Driss began his professional career in plastic art which was an enriching and fulfilling experience. Over the years Driss found his true passion in creating oil paintings which depict 'la vie quotidienne' the daily life of the Moroccan people and his unique brush stroke technique and color palette distinguish him from his contemporaries. Today Driss continues to be an honored Moroccan artist who captures in his paintings the wonder and beauty of his homeland and allows the world to take home with them a little piece of his imagination and creativity.
