Colourful and African Inspired Designs

Nqakaza Ntsindiso has a Graphic Design diploma from the renown Ruth Prowse School of Art based in Woodstock, Cape Town. He was born in the Eastern Cape, in a small town called Bizana. His work consists of a myriad of geometric shapes which create several meanings in several different ways. Ntsindiso’s design work is inspired by a proud knowledge of his traditional African language of symbols, which he translates into his two dimensional world. These patterns and symbols convey different messages about African people and their culture and explore how identical symbols can communicate different meanings at once.
