Palm Springs • Magnan Payne Associates I, Magnan, in NYC, was Fluxus and Conceptual; Payne was Process & Practical. We partnered..... and designed, made and/or licensed, installed, and maintained luminaires. Payne died.... 9/11 was.... I moved to Palm Springs, which (I'd been advised) was ripe for my Stuff. It was not ripe for my Stuff. Someone said, "Why don't you try Zazzle, with your pre-luminaire, illustrative Stuff." I said, "OK. I'll do a Palm Springs-specific thing." But, it got out of hand.
