On New Years Eve of 2020, my husband proposed to me. This was literally right before the COVID-19 Pandemic came into fruition. Due to the pandemic, I assumed my husband would want to wait at least two years before we got married. To my surprise, he wanted to get married by 2021. So, I put my Bride planning hat on, and GOT..TO..WORK.. When I was looking for everything from invitations, to menus to seating charts, signs and MORE I realized that though I LOVED some of the things I found, I wasn't IN LOVE with them. With each design I found there was ALWAYS something missing. Then I realized that those who were designing all of these invitations, menus, seating charts, signs, etc. were most likely people that weren't getting married and most likely people who weren't a bride-to-be like I was. Luckily, my husband and I already own a business together creating audio advertisements for businesses and podcast owners across the country and around the world. Aside from actually creating those audio advertisements, my job is to create all of the marketing materials that get clients to find our services. So, I had prior experience designing and had a weird obsession with fonts! From there, the rest is history! I purchased a Cricut to create signs and I started to also create the menus and other knick knacks via Photoshop. Everything came out PERFECTLY! When my guests at my wedding found out that I created most of the materials for my wedding, they were so impressed that mostly everything was made by me, the bride. Today, four months after the best day of my life, the only thing I regret is how much focus I put on creating everything myself. To the point where I forgot to do so many things for myself, as the bride for my big day! MadeByTheBride is my way of making sure that no other future bride ever has to worry about creating her own wedding materials, but instead enjoys the process. I'll handle the nitty gritty, while you handle all of the pretty :)
