Intrepid Detroiter

I started exploring Detroit with my camera in late 2009. I fell in love with every part of my city -- the ruins, the skyscrapers, the vacant lots, the river -- each part hold its own beauty and fascination. I stumbled upon Zazzle and discovered that I could put my photos, my experiences, out there for everyone else to see and experience too. It appealed to the designer in me. At first, all the purchases were me or my family and friends being supportive, and later I realized that Detroit holds a place in many other people's hearts as well. Abandoned, burned, rising from the ashes, renewed, rebuilt, thriving -- it's cyclical. One thing remains true -- Detroit Hustles Harder -- and that means we never give up.
