Karyn Lewis Illustration: Fantasy & Children's Art

Karyn Lewis received a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Drawing from Colorado State University. After working as an Arts & Entertainment reporter for a metro paper, Karyn quit her “day job” to become a full time freelance illustrator. Karyn lives in the Midwest with her journalist husband and young son. Karyn works in a variety of styles, from whimsical children’s book illustrations and holiday art, to graphic design, classic portraits and even abstract paintings. Almost all of Karyn’s work is paper-free. Using a Wacom Tablet, she draws and paints with the digital brushes and design tools in Photoshop CS5. She loves to experiment with new techniques and different styles
