I could give a lecture on how important the role of art is in the development of our children and how it enriches our world and develops cultures. What I am going to do is say this: Imagine how empty, sad and lonely all the kitchen refrigerators would look without our children's art on them or how dull our walls would look without ART. What would we do if we had no literature to read or museums, galleries and movies to go see and experience?
