This store rose like a Phoenix from ashes of difficult times. Moving 180 from a crazy-hard medical situation, I launched Grego Graphics, offering a new style of fun, joyful, and sometimes curious art. My aim is to touch the lives of others in meaningful ways through my art. A second goal is to give back, through my art, to beings in need. Using the well known (right?) “feel good, be happy” theory of design, bold colors and unique images emerge from the Tablet of Creation I use. With this special electronic equipment comes an intuitive, highly intelligent and playful electronic pencil. Somehow that stick reads my mind and makes up all kinds of… you know, stuff. Some of the pieces have embedded words adding complexity. Others are “art-for-the-heck-of-it”! My goal is to bring a smile, a hearty chuckle, to help someone find comfort when needed, and/or to extend a moment of zen. The designs on this site are another looking glass, a transformed lens of reality. What got me to use my art on functional pieces? Something like having a difficult phone call to make, and preferring to delay it forever. Looking for a solution to help turn off uncomfortable moments, and move into the present, I designed my first phone case with a fish on it. Like magic, once I had it in hand, I initiated the dreaded call, mostly got the outcome I wanted, and the rest is history.
