I loved drawing and painting even when I was a child. As a teenager I took many art courses: advertisement llustration , cartooning, pencil drawing and, finally, oil on canvas. At first, I painted children exclusively. But I found that my work was too academic. However, with the passage of time I began to feel free to express myself without worrying excessively about details. Now everything I paint is a product of my imagination. Ten years ago I took a course specializing in a Japanese technique of painting oil on canvas without brushes, using just my hands. Not only does this technique give me an immense amount of pleasure and freedom, but it lends softness to the finished image. Also, this technique has allowed me to advance in the art of blending. I have taken part in many exhibitions and have received awards four times in São Paulo, for my work, all of them a product of my own imagination. I am a member of Julio Louzada Brazilian catalogue of art. To me, creating is the key to a world of surprises. Each day from a white canvas a new door opens, a new passage and a different feeling arises. I am transported to challenging universe. It is my way of realizing my dreams.
