March 2013: A Danebod camper recently asked me if I had a good clean electronic version of the Danebod logo that I'd designed as a 12-year-old in 1977. I did not; but I know how to work in Illustrator now—software that didn't exist then—so I said I'd redraw it in an electronic format for them. After finishing, I thought, "I'd like this on a mug!" and pulled up Zazzle. Before long I'd set up this store and started posting a bunch of items with variations of the the 1977 logo. Just as important, I got a bit of a start on a project I'd been dreaming of for a long time: posting favorite old Camp Notebook t-shirt designs online, to allow Danebodians to replace our cherished old worn-out camp shirts. (So far I've only digitized notebook artwork that I originally had designed. I have more pictures and scans of old notebook designs, and if I can get permission from the artists and/or the camp leadership, I will post more designs here.) I don't expect this will ever become a Zazzle top-selling store, but I want to show it to the Danebod Lutheran Church, Danebod Folk Camp, and Danebod Family Camp leadership—it'd be great if this store could net them a few bucks if anyone ever buys anything. —Erik Juhl, Prior Lake MN ( LittleOle@danebod.camp )
