EAST PLUM AVENUE

Hi there! I’m Stacey Plummer—illustrator, surface pattern designer, wife, and mom (to both a daughter and two delightfully rambunctious boxer dogs). I live in the heart of North Carolina, where I run a small but mighty art business that brings cozy charm to fabric, stationery, and home goods. The name of my business originates from part of my maiden name and married name and avenue is a place where you can find shops, where I display all of my print-on-demand products not just Zazzle, but Spoonflower, and Amazon KDP. My influence for the love of art and imperfect style of sketchy lines and the fluidity of gouache watercolor came from my paternal side of the family. My grandmother and great aunt created beautiful canvases of flourishing flowers, unique vases, variety of fruits, etc, basically still life, and with much zest began teaching me their style before I was ready to enroll in kindergarten. Each design reflects a storybook-inspired style using soft, muted colors and loose, sketchy lines that whisper nostalgia and invite a sense of wonder. Whether it’s a hedgehog sipping tea or florals that feel like they were plucked from a vintage tale, each design begins with heart—and usually, a cup of coffee. When I’m not digitally sketching or creating new patterns, you’ll find me treasure-hunting at outdoor craft markets, soaking up stories at the theater, laughing at comedy shows, dancing at a concert under the stars with my husband, or taking an adventure with my two rambunctious boxers, Buddy & Maple. Creativity is my career, but storytelling is my soul.
