Bad Fathers

The mohawked cousins, Austin Galante and fittingly, Cousin, alternately sing and rap alongside the vibrant rhyming of Juan Hooks. Bassist Kyle Marxen, guitarist/producer Jethro, and drummer Tye Friis complete the group. In 2005, The Bad Fathers released their second full-length album titled Angels in the Chamber. The album features the single “Bragging Rights” with Cee-Lo Green of Gnarls Barkley fame. Angels in the Chamber also received contributions from Righteous Babe artist Brian Wolff, Southern Records’ William Elliott Whitmore, and hip hop producer Tack Fu. “Bragging Rights” was featured on Impose magazine’s summer sampler. Known for their rambunctious partying and frequent nakedness, Bad Fathers have consistently toured the past two years including 21 dates on Warped Tour 05’. Their charisma, boyish charm, up tempo energy, and sense of humor are witnessed in their live show. Known to perform wearing nothing but loincloths, Bad Fathers have shared the stage with Ying Yang Twins, Lil’ Jon, Slick Rick, Rahzel, Lost Prophets, Atmosphere, Gym Class Heroes, Quietdrive, Cee-Lo Green and numerous other fine talents.
