Biographical Information: I grew up in Israel, and then lived in California USA, Wiltshire UK, and now I reside in Aurora Colorado. My formal education is in science (Ph.D. in Chemistry) and I was employed in academic institutions as a researcher in the field of computational chemistry. Artistic Activities: I took part in courses and workshops at UCSD and at the University of Bath, I had a solo exhibition at the University of Bath Library gallery in 1992. The painting 'CarmenSoftShield' was exhibited in the 2007 Western Colorado Watercolor Society's juried Exhibition. The painting 'Lost in Reflection' was alternative painting in the 2007 Colorado State Watercolor juried exhibition. The painting 'Nora's Howls' will be exhibited in the juried exhibition '18th Annual Colorado State Watermedia'. April 24 - May 3, 2009. About my Art I paint mainly with transparent watercolor on paper. Most of my pictures depict hypothetical situations and imaginary scenes, striving to capture ideas and moods rather then a resemblance to specific places or people. On many occasions more than one way forward suggest themselves either from the onset or during the painting process. I like to explore these possibilities in different paintings and thus I have several ongoing themes. I started using Poser and Vue mainly to set up virtual models and/or scenes which are then painted in watercolor. The CG images were supposed to be only an intermediate stage, but I now make these images a 'product ' on their own accord. A selection of my CG images will be added shortly.
