Originally from Stoke on Trent, Saffordshire, England; I emigrated to the U.S. in 1988. I've always loved to draw but began to pursue painting in 1994; taking classes with local and national artists. I've entered local & regional shows and have won numerous awards. After finding my own style I had my own art show in October of ‘04, which was a huge success. I'm always trying something new in between commissions and recently have been doing children's portraits. Putting my own twist on them, I've been able to incorporate fun design elements, and have been surprised with how popular they’ve become.
