Ariana's Art

I have always enjoyed photographing the great variety of natural beauty in Canada. I was born in Alberta, and return whenever I am able. My journey through the Alberta Rockies in August 2008 was a soul refreshing holiday, renewing the connection to my roots as a Prairie Girl, as well as expanding my horizons with stunning vistas of the mountains shouldering each other. In that immense beauty, the human soul can find its peaceful center, and serenity grows like a flower. Since then, I have taken my camera on many journeys, mostly close to home but looking forward to exploring the far horizons. I walk my neighbourhood and visit local parks, and look for nature's beauty that may otherwise be unnoticed. I work hard at taking photos that I can offer with little or no digital manipulation afterward, composing the shot through the viewfinder instead of on the computer.
