Anointed2023

In Greek, the word diagnosis means “a state of knowledge throughout.” Knowledge is wisdom, and I received that wisdom through a breast cancer diagnosis in July 2023. After the initial shock, I quickly realized that what the world wanted to tell me about cancer and what I, along with countless others, intuitively knew were very different. My cancer diagnosis was not a death sentence; it was a health sentence. It was a call to self-healing in every area of my life: spiritual, physical, and mental. It was an anointing — anointing me to look more closely at my choices, my assumptions, and my thinking. Anointing me to re-member my authentic self: who I am at the core of my being and in my life’s calling. Anointing me to reconnect and more fully align my path with my Always Beloved Creator, AKA ABC. My diagnosis was not a cancer-scare narrative; it was the appointment needed for an anointment seeded. In the months following my diagnosis, I turned my will and my heart over to my ABC. Morning meditations became my mediCations, and in them I encountered many miracles and downloads. In one of those downloads, I heard: “Dis-ease diagnosis, or any trauma for that matter, is an anointing.” When we allow fear-filled experiences to shift our perspective toward healing, love, and peace, we anoint ourselves. The anointed are called to remain conscious of and act from what each letter in the word ANOINTED represents: Authentic-Self Noble Center Open Heart Inner Vision Novel Wisdom Truth Seeking Ears to Hear Divine Connection Wear & declare your ANOINTED SELF on your sleeve, literally. Spread healing via reminding others that food is medicine, they are wise, and healing is always possible.
