Welcome to the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, Alpha Company—an Infantry Marine unit forged with unwavering dedication and a commitment to excellence. Established on February 16, 2022, and officially launched on the 22nd, our unit has evolved into a formidable force within the milsim community. Our foundation is built upon a diverse array of skilled individuals, including Infantry Marines, Corpsmen for medical support, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (2MAW) for air superiority, and Mechanized units for ground vehicle support. Together, these elements create a dynamic environment, ensuring that we excel in all facets of military simulation. In our early days, with just five initial members, only two of whom remain, we reflect on our remarkable journey. This serves as a poignant reminder and commitment that within the 13th, we staunchly disallow any form of favoritism or nepotism. While many of us share friendships beyond these digital borders, it is imperative to understand that such bonds should never compromise the principles of leadership, where leading and teaching by example are non-negotiable. With over 70 members, including both active and retired personnel from the United States Armed Forces, we've overcome challenges in recruitment, training, and leadership. Under the guidance of our Commanding Officer, Captain Hideyoshi, and the vigilant oversight of the Special Security Section (S2), led by Captain Riptide, we adhere strictly to a code of Rules and Regulations that define our conduct and operations.
