Born in the small village of Jacksonville, Ohio, attended Ohio University and spent 6 years in the United States Naval Air Force before coming to Kentucky in 1971. I became very active in the arts and crafts programs of the Bluegrass area. I was co-founder of Richmond Kentucky's very popular May Affair arts and crafts festival and founder and past president of the Madison Artisans. I was one of the original Board of Directors of the Kentucke Society, a non profit organization formed to promote Kentucky through her history, heritage and the arts. I was art instructor for the Jessamine county Ky. school system and am now teaching watercolor at my home studio in Lexington Ky.
