Hello Loves, Welcome to the KarmaBoutique, a shop created out of love during a solo journey across SE Asia. After the heartbreak of losing my Mom and two challenging years of battling depression, I decided to leave the U.S on what I like to refer to as a spiritual sabbatical. So, I donated most of my belongings, packed a small bag and left with only $700.00 and an open heart. I took a huge leap of faith and booked a one way ticket to Bali, Indonesia to pursue my dreams of traveling the world. My journey soon took me to India where I studied Yoga and meditation and became a certified teacher. By volunteering and paying it forward, I went on to explore 10 other countries in SE Asia. I lived with locals in rural communities and cities and I learned first hand how poverty, human and sex trafficking trade has torn apart families and destroyed lives. Through my volunteerism I discovered a higher purpose. After twenty plus years of working as a producer in the entertainment industry, it is now my dream to create a wellness center & social enterprise to help change the lives of others. My intention is to build a brick and mortar business and social enterprise that will empower men, women and children by teaching them by teaching them Yoga, meditation, Ayurvedic wellness, textile design and other areas of the business so that they may thrive on their own. This business will pay fare wages and work with local organizations to provide counseling and support. It's my hope that I can make a difference in the lives of others and help to fight this viscous cycle that often makes children vulnerable. It is my promise that every dollar of my commission made in this store will go to build our facility. Together we will be the change we hope to see in the world.
