TransActive GenderCenter

TransActive Gender Center was founded in 2007 and has become a leading national and international voice for transgender and gender diverse children, adolescents, teens and their families through education and advocacy. A non-profit organization, TransActive has led the way in healthcare coverage for transgender people of all ages and impacted education on transgender youth-related issues in schools, businesses, medical settings, community groups and more. TransActive Gender Center has provided training to more than 12,000 individuals as of 2016, and served more than 1,000 families of transgender children and youth.
