Start the conversation. Stop the cycle. Stay aware. Hubby & I started this Zazzle Store, because we're trying to help my disabled mom. We're trying to get her out of low income housing & into a new place. We're needing to make $700 in the next couple of months ($400 for a moving van & $300 for the deposit on her new place). Since November 6, 2024 we've added to that focus, because of the current Presidential Administration are considering making cuts to Medicaid, Medicare & Social Security. All things my mom gets. If they make cuts to those she'll be in trouble, because she can't work. So, hubby & I will help her out. In MANY states there are Filial Responsibility Laws that impose a legal obligation on adult children to provide for their parents' basic needs, such as food, shelter, & medical care if the parents cannot afford it.
