You never pay attention to the little details of things until you’re looking at photos of things up close and personal. When you do, it brings out a whole see side of things you wouldn’t have imagined staring at something with the naked eye. When you look at these photos, you see more than just a woman or a flower. You see a new world of excitement that sparks a joy in you, from details like the petal of a flower or the natural beauty of a woman. You find this in Rick’s art. It makes someone like myself feel more significant, all the details that I have that I thought wouldn’t matter, are brought to life by the examples I’ve been shown in his art. With each flower represents a sense of sensitivity and growth. Most take time to bloom and are so fragile, making photo shoots a bit harder when it comes to such delicacy. If I could pull a theme from Rick’s work, it would be romance. Each photo comes with a sense of sexy and sensual. You can almost smell the roses, feel the water that drops from them, and embrace the heat of the candles. Each and every woman that is shown through his art has their own style of beauty that draws you in, each one is different, yet so captivating. The diversity portrayed is beyond magical and brings out the best in each and every ethnic background. The best thing about these women, is that they are all different sizes as well, which makes more women feel more confident as well as comfortable in their own skin. With all this being said about Rick’s photography and art, you can really tell that there is true passion and love for what he does. He takes pride and joy in his work with all the time and effort that is put into this.
