We are a Community Interest Company (not-for-profit) on a mission to educate the workforce about women's reproductive, menstrual and mental health. All surplus will be reinvested into the company to improve and expand our services and put women's health firmly on the corporate agenda! We're an inclusive organisation and refer to anyone assigned female at birth when using the term 'woman'. Women have distinct needs due to their reproductive life course, which can present a range of unique challenges, including gynaecological and mental health problems. Reproductive symptoms often affect women’s ability to carry out daily activities, but many conceal their symptoms from work colleagues. Stigma surrounding reproductive health is a key concern for women, with less than half seeking help for their symptoms (Public Health England, 2018). It can be a huge relief for women to know that their employer will support them and women want these issues to be normalised, so they can be discussed openly and managed appropriately in the workplace. At SEE HER THRIVE, we are helping to improve awareness, openness and support for women’s health in organisations, through training and education. Who is with us?!
