My husband and I started spending summers on Colorado's Western Slope long before we moved here. We stayed in a house in spectacular Ouray when it was still an active mining town. We watched the weekly train pull into Ridgway to pick the cars of concentrate and often followed it back to Grand Junction. The route it took is under the waters of Ridgway Dam now. That was many years ago, of course. Now we live among the region's red rocks near the Colorado River (once called the "Grand River." It's four-season country, unlike or former home on the West Coast. We walk every day and take hundreds of pictures. This gallery offers a variety of products including posters, prints, calendars, and cards featuring some of those photos.
