Our business is pure inspiration of color, creation and the spirit of making art. I'm a creative person and without making or using my creativity, my soul is crushed. Maker Medusa was created as an outlet for my endless need to "make." So, here we are! Why Medusa? There are MANY meanings that can be taken from Medusa for me, from her blood running into the sea and becoming bright red coral, to her "me too" symbolism and finally, to her ability to "make" those who looked upon her into stone. Beautiful, strong, troubled Medusa, wrongfully punished. Eternal. ​ Why so much Sicilian themed art? Well, I love it! It's a chaos and kaleidoscope of color and movement and life. I love the culture in Sicily as well, as it is much more diverse in cultures, skin tones, beliefs and foods - all harmoniously smashed together in an unbelievably beautiful place. (You'll see a lot of other inspirations as well, all from a place of color and life!)
