ART AUCTION FOR THE ANIMALS

As an interrogation into life’s challenges, my animal pop art depicts feelings of escapism, rebellion, individuality, and struggle. Inspired by childhood dreams and my love for animals, my art shows the importance of individualism and following dreams. My passion for my animal subjects is evident in their intimate depiction in my art. My interest in horses began during childhood, in which my first memories involve collecting model horses, riding horses, and drawing horses. My education in forensic science and zoology has contributed to the use of animal themes with the juxtaposition of forensic science elements. In my art, horses and other animals are often humorously shown among pop culture references with underlying important messages about life’s challenges. My art is intended to increase an appreciation of other species and raise awareness about the plight of animals on this planet.
