Growing up in a small village in Cameroon, Africa, I was influenced by the simplified images and patterns found in native African art. The handcrafted stencil art and woodcarvings provided a uncomplicated view of the world; simplifying what I saw into solid shapes and colors. I developed my style of art further while living in the states. Hip-hop, graffiti, and techno proved to be strong influences. Combining the modern subject matter of America with my African-influenced style produced intriguing & unique art. This style has since become my signature.
