I'm Jacki, a graphic designer located in central Connecticut. I've always loved art, ever since I was a kid; and in high school, I was excited to learn that a career in graphic design could allow me to follow my passion for design while creating things that people actually use on an everyday basis. I earned my Bachelor's degree in graphic design at Sacred Heart University in 2010, and almost immediately after began a career at a marketing agency. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work on a variety of digital & print projects for some big-name clients--Dove, NFL, ESPN, Hellmann's and Slimfast, to name a few--and a handful of small ones. Still, I found myself longing for the ability to create my own visions from start to finish, with my own hands, in my spare time. I tried my hand at jewelry-making for a couple of years, with a fairly successful Etsy shop. I also began dabbling with designing stationary products (cards, invitations) for Minted.com design challenges--I even won one a Editor's Pick in of the very first contests I entered in 2016! My winning design was a baby shower invitation designed specifically for twins (did I mentioned I'm a twin myself?!) On a related (yet unexpected) note, I became pregnant with my daughter in 2016,. In the months after she was born, I realized I really needed to prioritize and decide what was most important to me--and spend my rare spare time as a working mom wisely. My passion for jewelry-making had been fizzling, so I closed my Etsy shop for good. Instead, I focused on entering design challenges whenever I could. I also had the occasional opportunity to create logos for family & friends' small businesses. I quickly realized my passion lies in creating tangible art & design for individuals who truly value it. Whether it's a logo to represent your business, an invitation or card to send to loved ones, or a piece of art to hang in your home... I'm here to create those items for you!
