Every adventure starts with a dream and the limits of your dreams are only determined by your imagination! As professional photographer and designer I realized that there must be more out there than business and making money and paying bills. And so my dream started, as I could Imagine myself in a re-built delivery van converted into a tiny home van, traveling through my home country, South Africa, visiting small towns , learning about the country's diverse cultures and uniqueness, and also the challenges facing small towns and especially rural areas, and then, making a small difference by giving back to that community. Whether giving back means providing food or clothes or basic needs or providing to spiritual needs - whatever the need, there must be a small part that we can fill, and make a difference. One person cannot change the world, but you can change the world for one person if you are willing to listen, have compassion and then act. Giving back does not have to be extravagant it just has to be sincere and effective. Adventures always start off with a dream, but dreams and adventures both cost money - and so, Extra Ordinem ( ‘outside the normal course of events’) was born - A dream funding platform where I will be able to sell my design and share my vision with the world and hopefully motivate others to do a little something for someone in their own communities. We don't need to be famous, we just need to be effective.
