I started - designing clothes in the early '60s in the greater New York (city) tri state. I was exposed to fashions from around the world. I had access to the vast array of Art, contemporary, classical and traditional. Along with international garment district of New York. The rich colors, designs, and textures of the fabrics fulled my imagination. I study Visual Arts in High School. Fashion is about making and creating. Style is the combination of the color, design that makes a statement about what is unique to you. Fast forwarding to the wonders of technology, I am about to focus on my love of nature, indigenous prints and patterns to present my collection of bags, totes, leggings and clothing accessories via my Shop Diva Designs. Clothing - is a visual experience for the wearer and the viewer - a canvas for art and personal statement.
