DFA was a long time in coming. It started with a Tesoro Silver Sabre II in 1995 and a love of metal detecting slowly grew. Over the years much was learned until the point where Brian realized he could give back to the community. Brian started teaching metal detecting classes in 2017 and began taking people out into the field in 2019 for hands-on lessons. It was during this time that he realized that there were a lot of people interested in getting into the hobby but just didn't know how to get on good properties. The COVID lock-down provided an opportunity to plan and in 2021 Dirt Fishing Adventures was born. Since then Brian has been teaching in-class beginner lessons, in the field lessons, and has been running open hunts. At Dirt Fishing Adventures we believe that the next great find is just around the corner.
