Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit my shop. My name is Mikaylah and I am a momma to two beautiful boys, with the hopes of becoming a stay at home mom. My shop, Desert Prints, got its name after a lot of rebranding and contemplation. Growing up, I had a rough home life, but my grandparents were my saving grace. Unfortunately in December of 2022 my papa passed away and he was one of my biggest supporters. My grandma and papa raised me to be the woman I am today and they always stood strong in their faith. Much like Jesus, they came to me in my dark moments and did not sit on the sidelines and wait on me to find them. When we think of deserts, we think of droughts, loneliness, exclusion, maybe even fear and anxiety. We all have our moments in the desert and I was very fortunate for my grandparents to meet me in the desert. My hope is that my store will be a place where you can get all of your needs met and know that you are not alone in your journey; you can achieve anything you set out to achieve. I hope my store is a constant reminder that we need to meet others in their desert and love them and shower them with kindness.
