Wolf Navarro is a singer songwriter who currently lives in Humboldt County, CA. Born in Chicago,Illinois and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania he grew up with a love for music from Adrian Belew to Zappa! After being hit by a car and unable to walk for over a year, Wolf got his first guitar at age 17, he played it relentlessly and found himself listening to a lot of Neil Young,Bob Dylan,the Grateful Dead and especially The Mahavishnu Orchestra, but he grew up listening to Kiss, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and lots of punk rock as well!! These many types of music blended perfectly in his mind so after leaving home and school to pursue a music career he helped found the national touring act "Grinch". A 1990's jam band with an arsenal of hard hitting originals and close to 7 years on the road!! It was a dream come true, but time catches up with people and the grueling tour schedule finally caught up with him. He retired from the band in 1998 and moved to Northern California where he has been in a number of great acts like Eskidyoto, System 7, BIAS & 7th Generation Rise. Currently he is working on a new solo album which he hopes will be available in the fall of 2007 and plays solo acoustic shows also jams with the band Grinch(they're baaack!) when they can. With almost 100 original tunes and years of touring, opening for and playing with many national acts like Widespread Panic, Rusted Root, Moe., The Disco Biscuts, The Bailey Brothers, The Aquarium Rescue Unit, The Gibb Droll Band, Everything, Juggling Suns,Yolk, Schleigho, Jefferson Airplane, Lynnard Skynnard and Hot Tuna just to name a few Wolf Navarro always delivers a fun, high energy musical experience!!!!!!!
