Born exactly a year and a half apart, the COFO KIDs™ have emerged onto the scene as a bold, force to be reckoned with. Becoming entertained and enthused by their innocent humor and adult-like responses to life’s toughest questions and challenges, their mother, LeQui Gandy, began to develop books, cartoon pilots, apparel and accessories to broadcast their adorable charm, comedic ingenuity, and amazing intellect to share with the rest of the world. This line was designed to embrace and celebrate minority children all over the world, it is my hope to bring awareness to global diversity, so young children can be inspired by a positive representation of themselves and their culture. Meet Nehemiah. Born on September 11th, Nehemiah (Miah) is a big brother with a big imagination. At 6 years old, with an unwavering love for dinosaurs, he can name just about every reptile that walked this earth long, long ago. His other fascinations include: storm chasing, natural disasters, and what to do in the event of a shark attack. His dry, yet funny humor could brighten even one’s saddest days. You will fall in love with this sweet, nurturing comforter as his kind eyes and gentle spirit make him the love of his mother’s eye, her first born. Meet Amina. As the baby of the family, Amina (Mina) is definitely a princess by day and diva by night. She is always the life of the party and the center of everyone’s attention. Her audacious and fierce attitude never goes unrecognized. She enjoys singing on her karaoke machine and playing “mommy” to her stuffed animals and baby dolls. Amina’s angelic personality and loving mannerisms will be a joy for this world to remember as it has been for her mother.
