I’ve been an artist my whole life, but placed art on a slow simmer while focusing primarily on making a living as a graphic designer and raising kids. I’m excited to turn up the heat on connecting with the world through art again. Colors and textures in nature are my inspiration and bring me so much joy. I find the act of seeing-through-creating opens me up to something much larger than myself, and grows my gratitude for life and its wonders. I’m currently exploring monoprinted collage. I enjoy working with saturated colors and organic variations introduced through monoprinting. Shapes are cut out and scanned so that I can arrange compositions in Photoshop or create multiple variations on a theme. I've also been strongly inspired by Lake Superior, and enjoy capturing its beauty in paint. I’m having fun marrying art and design. Feel free to message me about formats you don't see here (including professionally framed). The name Cloverleaf Art & Design is derived from the name of the historic rural schoolhouse where I live and work— in the rolling hills of West Central Wisconsin.
