Acclaimed photojournalist Curt Borgwardt has been published in nearly one houndred magazines and newspapers worldwide. He photographed for Sygma Photo News, Paris, France, and has traveled from the grand Champs-Elysees in Paris to the anguish of Palestinian refugee camps in the Middle East; from the squalor of the street people in Nairobi, Kenya, to the Nouveaw riche in Copenhagen. Borgwardt has photographed Presidents Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, other politicians, race cars drivers, movie stars and others. His sensitivity to, and passion for life, began as a child growing up above a funeral home, his family's business. Borgwardt has not only seen an enormous amount of death and suffering over the years, including the death of his 19 year old son Brian, a U.S. Marine, but also the power of the human spirit to carry on.
