Being Matilda

Art is a meditative experience. Art is my outlet. I love to create and build things. Always have. I love to paint, draw, and create jewelry and trinkets from recycled materials. I find beauty in things old and new. Painting has always been a passion of mine. It is so relaxing to work with paint on a canvas. We live in such a fast paced world these days with all of our conveniences and technology, that sometimes it is hard to forget that we need to slow down. I was one of those people that forgot that. Don’t get me wrong, I love technology. I do it for a living. As children, we do not live as fast with so many expectations. We have time to do the things we love. As an adult, it is easy to forget to make time to explore our passions that make us who we are deep down. I’ve recently come back to my creative roots and it is making a huge impact on my life and the way I see the world. I hope that my creations will inspire the uniqueness in you and the ones you love. Like my ever changing thoughts, I design many different things. I don’t feel that I have to stick to a specific thing when it comes to my art pieces. I do what comes natural. I’ll save the theme based work for my branding! Enjoy!
