Sky High

An illustration from the cover of the 1925 review 'Sky High' programme at the London Palladium. From it’s beginning the London Palladium was a variety theatre. From 1912 the theatre was run by Charles Gulliver who put a successful series of variety shows. On 30th March 1925 ‘Sky High’ opened and ran for 309 performances. The cast included George Robey, a leading comedian, singer and actor in British Music Hall. This cover is one of several produced during the show run.
